There’s nothing to soothe the pain happening outside of our own lives these days. It’s difficult to look at our country with any kind of positive eye when the only diversion is another unrelated disaster. And when that disaster includes 24 dead children, it’s a painful punch to the heart.
As Conservatives we’ve been grabbing at threads for the past six years, but sadly each thread frays and eventually breaks. But because of our collective patriotism we continue to grab.
It’s not due to hatred or racism that we hope one of those threads leads to Mr. Obama’s demise, it’s because we love our Country as founded and obviously he dose not!
Even though it’s not our children killed by this horrible tornado, it is unimaginable the life-changing grief that swarms a parent’s body as they try to fight the news. The frequency of disasters does nothing to numb our pain either; Newtown’s memory is still so vivid.
Moore, Oklahoma’s tragedy is an unwelcome diversion from the cancer in Washington, but it IS a diversion. We pray for the time when something so good happens that we forgot about our tragic politicians for a day or two.
