Students from area high schools will explore engineering careers during National Engineers Week, Feb. 18-20, at Arnold Engineering Development Complex. The event includes a Student Design Competition, Engineer-For-A-Day program, and Engineers Week Banquet. Last year, nearly 50 students participated. Paul Kelly, a retired AEDC engineer, revived the event after a three-year hiatus and hopes for increased participation. The week aims to raise awareness of engineering and encourage students to pursue technical careers. The Engineers Week Banquet will feature guest speaker Mark Mehalic.
