Alleged Child Predator Arrested

Shelbyville detectives have arrested a military contractor from Crewe, Virginia intending to engage in sexual activities with someone he believed to be a 10-year-old girl. The Shelbyville Police Department says James Howard Reed, Jr. traveled from Fort Campbell to Shelbyville. He was apprehended last Friday without incident and is being held at Bedford County Corrections on a $200,000 bond.
