AT&T and Communications Workers of America Reach Tentative Agreements After Weeks of Strikes; Workers Return to Jobs

After weeks of strikes, the Communications Workers of America and AT&T have reached tentative agreements. The strikers, some of whom were seen picketing in Tullahoma, went back to work this morning. AT&T said their goal since day 1 has been to reach fair agreements, recognizing the hard work of their employees. More details are expected once the agreement is shared with CWA members. Ratification votes are expected to happen in the coming weeks.
