Camp Blount Historic Site Hosts First Annual Veterans Walkathon During Fayetteville's 'Host of Christmas Past' Event to Support 'New Hats for Vets

Camp Blount Historic Site is hosting its first annual Veterans Walkathon in conjunction with Fayetteville's "Host of Christmas Past" event. It happens Saturday at 10a.m. Registration is 10 dollars per person, with children free. All ages are welcome. Find out more about the event at communitywalkathon.org. Proceeds from the walkathon provide funding to purchase new hats for veterans through New Hats for Vets. The hats are given out to veterans year round at community events as well as local VFW locations.Camp Blount Historic Site is at 1371 Huntsville Highway.
