Franklin County EMA & Rescue is warning boaters to use caution on Tims Ford Lake. The lake is undergoing its usual draw down and the Rescue's Recovery Boat Tugzy had to recover a grounded vessel Wednesday night in the Devils Step Area. Until the draw down is complete, many areas are shallow and make for dangerous conditions. If you are planning a "Leaf Viewing Cruise," you’re advised to use caution, watch your speed and stay off the lake after dark.
