Coffee County School Board Dismisses Director Dr. Charles Lawson, Appoints Dr. Prater Powell as Interim Director

Coffee County Director of Schools, Dr. Charles Lawson, was dismissed Monday night by the Coffee County School Board. The board chose to terminate Dr. Lawson without cause and to buy out his contract with monthly payments. The Board immediately voted to hire Dr. Prater Powell as Interim Director of Coffee County Schools.
