Lincoln County Volunteer Fire Rescue battled a house fire early Tuesday morning in Flintville. Crews responded around 1 a.m. to a home on Flintville Road, finding heavy flames on two sides of the house, according to Fire Chief Doug Campbell. Firefighters from Flintville, Elora, Vanntown, and Park City contained the blaze, but the home was declared a total loss. All residents escaped safely, and the Red Cross is assisting the family. A heat lamp is suspected as the cause.
