Lincoln County Schools will close Thursday and Friday, Feb. 6-7, due to increased illness-related absences among students and staff, Superintendent Dr. Bill Heath announced. The district hopes to give families time to arrange childcare by remaining open Wednesday. During the closure, custodial staff will deep clean school buildings. Parents should check school social media for event updates. The Middle School Sectional Tournament will proceed as scheduled.
