MANCHESTER, Tenn. — June 12, 2025 — As Manchester braces for a weekend of heavy traffic—likely connected to the annual Bonnaroo Music and Arts Festival—Mayor Joey Hobbs has updated residents and travelers on the latest road conditions and closures in the area.

In a social media post, Mayor Joey Hobbs confirmed that Exit 114 on I-24 is currently open but warned drivers to expect heavy congestion and slow-moving traffic. He noted that while closures are at the discretion of the Tennessee Highway Patrol (THP), any shutdowns of Exit 114 would still allow access for local residents.

The mayor also announced that Exit 111 will remain closed for the time being. Meanwhile, Exit 110 is open and, like Exit 114, will remain accessible to locals in the event of a closure.

Additionally, Mayor Hobbs informed residents that paving work will continue on Spring Street, which may contribute to local traffic delays.

The traffic advisory comes as thousands of visitors are expected to flood into Manchester for events that typically strain the area’s infrastructure. Local officials urge drivers to be patient and plan alternate routes if possible. Mayor Hobbs’s message underscores the importance of community coordination and staying informed through official channels during this high-traffic period.
