
A winning lottery ticket worth $2 million was bought in Franklin County.
A Mega Millions player on Friday matched all five white balls (9 28 48 56 63), for a $1 million dollar prize, but the non-jackpot prize was doubled after the player hit the Megaplier. The Mega Ball, which was missed, was 2.
The ticket was sold at Decherd Food & Tobacco, 1813 Decherd Blvd.
The next estimated Mega Millions jackpot is at $77 million, with the next drawing on Tuesday.
The Tennessee Education Lottery Corporation has raised more than $7.7 billion for education programs in the state. And more than 2.2 million lottery-funded scholarships and grants have been awarded to Tennessee students.
