Seymour High School has hired Tullahoma Offensive Coordinator Caleb Olive as their next head coach.
Olive has spent the last eight seasons on the Tullahoma staff. First alongside his father John who helmed the Wildcat football team for 29 seasons culminating in the 2021 Class 4-A State Championship. Olive remained on Coach Coy Sisks Staff after his fathers retirement from coaching in 21. He’s been the Offensive Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach the last two seasons. Prior to his return to Tullahoma Olive was an Offensive Quality Control coach at University of Tennessee Chattanooga where he also earned a degree in health and physical education. In addition to coaching Olive was a teacher at Tullahoma High School for the last five years.
In a release announcing the hire Seymour High School said “We feel strongly that with his background, family values, experiences, and contacts in the football community, he will be able to build and lead our young men both on the field and off.”
Olive succeeds Patrick Clark who resigned in December after going 2-18 in two seasons at Seymour.
