  • Plans to remove the Pratt Truss Bridge at Old Stone Fort State Park have been delayed following communication from Governor Bill Lee's office. An email from Brandon Gibson, COO for the Governor's office, confirms that the Tennessee Department of Environment and Conservation (TDEC) has postponed the project until after an Administrative Procedures Division hearing related to the project, which is scheduled for May 2025. This follows requests from state lawmakers and the Old Stone Fort Bridge Preservation Group to halt the project pending the hearing's outcome.
