South Jackson Performing Arts Center Takes Bold Step to Revive the Tullahoma Fine Arts Center

Tullahoma, TN — June 2, 2025

A beloved local landmark is one step closer to being brought back to life—and South Jackson Performing Arts Center (SJPAC) is calling on the community to help make it happen.

SJPAC recently announced it is taking over operations of the Tullahoma Fine Arts Center, a historic cultural space that has long served as a cornerstone for artistic expression and community connection. The announcement was met with overwhelming enthusiasm from residents eager to see the Fine Arts Center restored and reimagined.

But before the doors can reopen, critical repairs and updates are needed to ensure the space is safe, functional, and ready to welcome the public once again. South Jackson is seeking $51,000 in capital funds to complete urgent work, including:

• Installation and repair of HVAC systems

• Roof and back porch restoration

• Payment of outstanding bills and accounts

• Elevator servicing for accessibility

• Exterior painting and cleanup

• Electrical and lighting updates

• Indoor flooring repair
