In a battle of district unbeatens and long time rivals the Tullahoma Lady Wildcats bested Franklin County 59-41 in front of a packed house in Winchester Friday night.

McLayne Bobo was again superb, tallying a game high 25 (her second straight game with at least 25 points) including a trio of threes.  Isabella Lidstrom turned in one of her better performances in recent weeks adding 13 points and freshmen Lizzy Sharpton and Addison Vincent again produced quality outings totaling 9 and 6 points respectively.

Lindstrom was named the Owens Provisions and Apparel Player of the Game.

The Lady Cats took control of the game in the second outscoring the Rebelettes 17-10 and put the game away with a 15-9 fourth quarter.

NeKayjah Holman led Franklin County with 16 points and Gracen Baggett added 14.

Tullahoma is now 12-10 overall and 4-0 in district 8-3A play while the Rebelettes drop to 11-11 overall and 3-1 in the district. The Lady Cats are 9-1 in the last ten meetings with Franklin County.

In the night cap Tullahoma, led by the senior duo of Khani Johnson and Xavier Farrel, jumped on Franklin County early and cruised to victory.

The Wildcats outscored the Rebels 22-6 in the first and 12-5 in the second to build a 23 point halftime advantage. After a brief appearance by the starting five to open the third Tullahoma emptied the bench en route to a 65-37 win.

Johnson who tallied a game high 15 was named the Owens Provision and Apparel Player of the Game. Farrell added in 13 and Cayden Poff came off the bench to score 9.

Brayden Arnold led Franklin County with 14 points.

With the win the Wildcats are now 19-3 overall, eclipsing their win total from a year ago and equaling their most wins since 2011-2012 when they finished 19-8.
