The Tullahoma Wildcats dominated Giles County from start to finish Tuesday 63-34 to claim the District 8-3A Championship for the first time since 2021.
Tullahoma scored the game’s first 7 points, held Giles County to just two made baskets in the first 8:30 of the game and to just 18 points in three quarters before fully emptying the bench in the fourth.

Xavier Farrell led the Wildcats with a game high 22 points and was named the Owens Provision Player of the Game. Khani Johnson added eight, including two first quarter tone setting threes.
After the game Farrell was honored as the regular season and tournament District 8-3A MVP. Johnson and Austin Tinnon also earned regular season and tournament All District accolades.
Jakiyah Englett paced Giles County with 8 points.
Tullahoma will host Dekalb County in the Region 4-3a tournament Quarterfinals on Saturday at 7:00. Coverage begins at 6:45 on the Home of the Cats 93.9 The Duck and is presented by Hogan’s Collision Center.
