Winchester Man Arrested on DUI, Drug Charges

DECHERD, Tenn. — Decherd K-9 Sgt. Marion arrested Marty Quade Schild, of Winchester, early Wednesday on DUI and drug charges. Marion stopped Schild’s vehicle around 3 a.m. for a light law violation and smelled alcohol. A search revealed suspected fentanyl, which field-tested positive. Schild failed sobriety tests and was arrested. The TBI lab will conduct further testing. All suspects are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
