"High on the Hog" Carnival Brings Family Fun to Franklin County

WINCHESTER, TN – The Kiwanis of Franklin County is presenting its annual "High on the Hog" Carnival, promising fun for the whole family from Wednesday, May 14th, to Sunday, May 18th. The event will be held at Winchester City Park, located at 1561 Phillip Fulmer Parkway.

The carnival, featuring rides by Primetime Amusements, will be open Wednesday and Thursday from 5 PM to 11 PM, Friday from 5 PM to 11 PM, Saturday from 12 PM to 5 PM and again from 5 PM to 11 PM, and Sunday from 12 PM to 6 PM. Armbands for rides will be available for $25 on Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday, and for $30 for each of the two sessions on Friday and Saturday.

In addition to carnival rides and games, attendees can enjoy a variety of delicious food. A highlight of the event will be the KCBS Backyard BBQ Competition, taking place on Friday, May 16th, and Saturday, May 17th. The BBQ competition will feature Coco Hoagies, various BBQ trucks, roasted corn, and more culinary delights.

The "High on the Hog" Carnival is a long-standing tradition, celebrating 38 years, and offers a range of entertainment options for all ages in the Franklin County community.
